Choir Director -  Jennifer "Jenny" Gilmer Fields
I  was born and raised right here in Lebanon, Virginia.  My parents were Franklin
and Peggy Jessee Gilmer.  My mom lived on Stone Bruise in the Green Valley section
and her family attended and were very active members of Green Valley Baptist Church.
I have fond memories of attending GVBC at an early age although I grew up attending
Lebanon Memorial United Methodist Church.  I was baptized and became a member of
LMUMC when I was in the 5th grade.
I married Randy Fields in 1978.  We have two sons- Joshua and Justin.  Josh and his family
are members of GVBC - Wife Rena and two daughters, Jaidyn(age 10) and Kenlie (age 8).
I joined Green Valley Baptist and became choir director under the direction of Darrell Fletcher
and I still serve in that capacity at this time.  I am thankful that my parents raised me in the church
with a strong foundation and a good moral compass.  My church family means so much to me.  I am
glad that God brought me her to Green Valley Baptist.
